I started the sound work for the upcoming Rodd Rathjen Short “Sweat” by spending four days on location as sound recordist . The film is funded through screen Australia and stars Colin Freils who was fantastic to work with. It was a tough shoot and because of safety, space or light was hard to get sound coverage for every shot, so as the “fix it in post” saying falls on me i will update the progress as we hit post production next month.

The shoot was in Colbinabbin, hot then cold then rainy then sunny, big hay bale trucks and machines, rough stuff!! I really missed the studio life. The crew were ace though and the catering amazing!!

Location sound is a tough gig…..
